DAFgiving360 has entered into a services agreement with Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. for administrative and other services, including human resources. This position will be an employee of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. and will be subject to its policies and procedures but will report to and be accountable to DAFgiving360 for day-to-day activities.

The
Senior Manager, Content Marketing is a content strategist on the DAFgiving360 marketing team and creates a holistic content experience across all marketing channels. The role focuses on content strategy, planning, creation, activation, amplification, and optimization in support of DAFgiving360 strategic priorities. This work is done in collaboration with internal and external partners to ensure content effectiveness and integration with other client and prospect marketing efforts.
Responsibilities Include
Lead assigned content marketing projects.
- Analyze the business need for content, develop a proposed content strategy, and present the strategy to key stakeholders.
- Develop, share, and continually update project plans, and manage projects from start to completion.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional project teams—include marketing peers, subject-matter experts, department leads, Schwab colleagues, agencies, and compliance partners—on content creation, activation, amplification, and optimization.
- Produce content in various formats, including thought leadership articles, website pages, collateral, press releases, infographics, videos, calculators, presentation slides, and newsletter articles.
- Work with all stakeholders to ensure content effectiveness, ensure integration with other marketing efforts, and minimize operational pain points in the content development process.
- Identify and adhere to brand and editorial requirements for content projects.
- Write, edit, and proofread copy.
- Provide website mark ups for content activation and amplification to help digital marketing partners do their work.
- Perform quality assurance checks before content is activated and amplified.
- Host meetings and present content strategy to ensure client-facing teams are aware of content or campaign launches
- Measure and report on content effectiveness and determine whether content should be renewed, revised, or retired at annual attestation or other timing.
- Incorporate content optimization learnings into the content development process.
Serve as a collaborative member of the content team and overall marketing team.
- Help drive a consistent and effective content development process.
- Assist with management of the content calendar, ensuring the calendar accurately reflects all current and planned projects.
- Contribute to management of editorial guidelines that are the foundation of content and digital marketing projects.
- Contribute to seasonal marketing project plans and team meetings.
- Participate in marketing team meetings and share project status updates.
- Assist marketing peers with project feedback, proofreading, and quality assurance checks.
Manage vendors.
- Work on multiple project assignments across multiple agencies.
- Serve as an agency’s point of contact for your content projects.
- Ensure high-quality and timely execution by agency staff.

What you have
Required Qualifications
To ensure that we fulfill our promise of “challenging the status quo,” this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have:
- BA or BS degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, economics, finance, or a related subject, or equivalent work experience
- Experience marketing donor-advised funds, philanthropic services, or financial services.
- 7+ years of financial writing and editing.

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive
