Key Responsibilities
The Digital Technology Communications Manager is responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies for important DT projects and programs. This role involves working closely with DT leaders to craft narratives, develop key messages, and create communications that align with the DT team. Additionally, the position requires collaboration with the Corporate Communications team to engage the broader United audience. The individual in this role must effectively simplify complex technical information into clear and engaging content suitable for various audiences and organizational levels.
- Manage the TechConnect newsletter and create engaging and informative content like articles, video storyboards, infographics, and presentations to communicate technology concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and coordinated messaging on technology-related topics
- Translate complex technical jargon into user-friendly language, ensuring employees at all levels of the organization can easily understand technology information
- Stay up to date with the latest digital technology trends, threats, and industry regulations to ensure the accuracy and relevance of communications materials
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of technology communications initiatives, collect feedback, and make recommendations for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with external vendors, subject matter experts, and industry partners to gather relevant information and leverage external resources for communication purposes

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years relevant experience (editorial, UX writing, content design, content strategy)
- Professional writing experience (writing / editing or managing content for websites, apps, etc.)
- Experience working on large-scale projects
- High-level knowledge of technology and technology tools
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy and consistency in all communications
- Clear and persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in Journalism, English, Technical Writing
- Knowledge of AP style
- Previous work with a big brand or large global enterprise
