Description

The Sponsored Social Strategist will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing comprehensive brand partnership campaigns across social media. This role requires collaboration across all departments to ensure a cohesive approach to content and messaging.

This role reports directly to the Director, Social Media and collaborates heavily with Integrated Marketing.

Note: East Coast roles require a minimum of three (3) in-office days per week (Tuesday to Thursday).

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for oversight of branded social content strategy, production, and execution
Craft copy, design graphics, and edit video content to be posted across FOS social platforms (including X, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) for partners
Work directly with internal teams and external clients/vendors to manage feedback and approvals promptly
Collaborate with Integrated Marketing to build and post-effective sponsored storytelling across FOS social platforms
Work with the Director of Social Media to brainstorm new content series and franchises for partners
Monitor social media trends and analytics to inform strategy and optimize performance
Communicate with internal teams to track KPIs and report on social media performance
Stay updated on emerging social media platforms and technologies to keep our strategy innovative and relevant

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

3+ years of experience in social media strategy, preferably within sports or entertainment
Proven ability to create engaging content and manage multiple social media platforms
Strong analytical skills with experience using social media analytics tools
Experience working with and adapting to feedback from clients, partners, and internal teams
Strong understanding of effective branded storytelling across social media platforms
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage cross-functional projects
Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to adapt to evolving industry trends and technologies
Passion for sports and a deep understanding of the digital media landscape
