We are on a mission to make vision care simple and affordable and we need an amazing content and email manager to help us make that happen. We’re launching a ground-breaking new brand that will fundamentally change vision correction in North America, as well as help solve correctable blindness in the developing world. As a brand, we are bold, hungry, and ready to change the world. We need a customer-focused email marketer to help execute our marketing strategy via on-site and outbound communications. This role will be responsible for flawless execution of email marketing and content delivery via web and app storefronts.

What You’ll Do

Work cross-functionally with marketing, merchandising, creative and ecommerce to deliver content and promotional campaigns in accordance with the marketing calendar
Plan and execute all email marketing sent to prospects and customers
Build and deploy triggered, promotional and newsletter email messages
Ensure all email meet quality and deliverability standards
Compile KPIs, evaluate performance, and report results of email marketing efforts
Maintain a database of subscribers and customers ensuring compliance with subscription preferences and legal obligations related to sending email and SMS messages
Execute content changes across web and mobile applications using CMS
Build new content and collection pages via CMS
Create promotional campaigns using an in-house promotion engine
Conduct A/B testing to improve engagement and KPIs for email campaigns
Lead the expansion of transactional communication strategy incorporating SMS, email, and push notifications.

Why we will love you

3+ years in a marketing, content, or e-commerce position.
Highly proficient in HTML, CSS, and email coding practices
Working knowledge of email sending platforms
Understanding of email deliverability and accessibility
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or other systems.
Ability to collaborate with creative, product, and engineering teams
Detail oriented and extremely organized
Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
Customer-focused with ability to understand consumer needs throughout the customer lifecycle
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
