Our marketing team moves fast, thinks big, and produces work that reaches audiences across the country and globe—we’re not your typical non-profit marketing team.

Position Overview

We’re looking for a Graphic Design Intern who can jump in, contribute immediately, and keep up.

This role is for someone who is:

Creative and detail-obsessed
Comfortable working on quick-turn projects
Able to hit deadlines without constant hand-holding
Excited to be part of a team that actually ships work (a lot of it)

What You’ll Do

Design high-quality marketing assets:

Social media graphics
Email and newsletter visuals
Event signage and collateral
Digital ads and web graphics
Print handouts
Turn around projects quickly while maintaining accuracy and polish
Ensure all designs align with brand standards (Automation Alley + program brands)
Juggle multiple projects and shifting priorities
Proof your work—spelling, grammar, and punctuation matter here
Collaborate with a team that values speed, quality, and getting things done

What We’re Looking For

Pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field
Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Canva (non-negotiable)
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop a plus)
Sharp eye for detail and clean, professional design
Ability to work quickly and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
Strong understanding of branding and visual consistency
Solid written communication skills

Bonus Points If You…

Are a true digital native who lives and breathes content
Have experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, image generators, design tools, etc.) to work smarter and faster
Keep up with design trends, social content, and what actually performs

Compensation

$20/hour, up to 20 hours per week for approximately 3 months
