Barnes Wendling CPAs is an Ohio-based public accounting firm headquartered in Cleveland’s Theatre District with two additional offices in Sandusky and Sheffield Village. Our accounting firm specializes in serving lower middle market businesses in industries such as: not-for-profit, construction, service enterprise, real estate, manufacturing, and distribution.

We are seeking a marketing coordinator who plays a key role in supporting the development and implementation of the firm’s digital and print marketing campaigns and strategies. The marketing coordinator will work on large-scale projects and complete daily tasks to increase firm brand awareness, communicate with clients, prospects, and referral sources, and support firm partners, directors, and staff.

This position affords an opportunity to develop and advance a skill set in marketing and communications, through involvement in print and digital marketing, event planning, website and social media management, and content development. In addition, the marketing coordinator will be involved with community relations, and in developing relationships with and supporting team members and clients.

The position reports to the senior marketing manager. The department is supported by an internal marketing committee which meets weekly to discuss activity and strategy. This position is located in the Cleveland Office.

The candidate must:

· Have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or journalism

· Have 2-3 years industry experience

Familiarity with the following platforms and tools:

· HubSpot

· WordPress

· Canva

· Microsoft Office

· Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop)

Responsibilities:

· Manage the firm’s social media program, including the content calendar

· Manage the firm’s annual Thanksgiving Holiday Art Contest held in partnership with four local elementary schools

· Track and report social media engagement and website performance using Google Analytics

· Produce a monthly e-newsletter

· Create print and digital marketing material, including advertisements, service descriptions, recruitment material and team member biographies

· Ensure collateral material is current

· Manage inventory of logo items

· Work with directors and team members on proposals for new business

· Input data from client survey

· Manage contact data and enter new clients in HubSpot

· Update website content

· Help plan and execute events

· Work with external vendors as needed
