Overview:

Berkshire Hathaway Automotive, one of the nation’s largest automotive groups, is currently seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to join our Digital Marketing team. This dynamic role is responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies that drive organic traffic to our websites, increase our online visibility, and improve our client's website rankings on search engines.

This position is a Full-Time, In-Person role at our offices in Irving, TX. This is not a Remote position.

Responsibilities:

Oversee copywriting initiatives by collaborating with internal and external resources and vendors.
Optimize landing pages for search engine advertising by conducting keyword discovery, working with the paid digital media team and other optimization tasks.
Research and execute search engine optimization suggestions including creating and executing a link building strategy.
Analyze website performance using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Universal Analytics (UA) to track website traffic, user behavior, and conversion rates.
Create and implement on-page and off-page optimization strategies, including meta tags, meta descriptions, alt tags, header tags, and internal linking structures.
Propose changes to website design, content, linking and other variables to enhance SEO positions for target keywords.
Write effective SEO friendly content for blogs, journals, websites, and social media accounts.
Follow up with Advertising Consultants during the time of the campaigns to make any necessary interactive edits as needed.
In conjunction with the Website Team, manage and plan interactive design resources; effectively identify and implement techniques in best utilizing production/creative.
Work with Advertising Consultants and the Content Management (CMS) team around email newsletter scheduling and deployment.
Identify technical SEO issues and working with the CMS team to resolve them.
Represent the company well as a highly visible team member, both internally and externally
Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, best practices, and algorithm updates.
Collaborate with other members of the digital marketing team to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns.

Qualifications:

B.A Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
1-3 years of experience in SEO and Digital Marketing with proven track record of improving website ranking and driving organic traffic
Advanced Google Analytics Certification required
Experience with Google Business Manager, Google Analytics Certification (UA and GA4), and Web Trends required
Experience with SEM Rush, Wordpress, Looker (Data) Studio and Email Marketing platforms is a plus
Intermediate knowledge of spreadsheets, databases, and Microsoft Office products
Strong attention to detail
Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as a team player
Strong organizational and communication skills
Excellent writing and analytical skills
