Full Time/Midlevel/In-house ONLY

We are looking for a talented Social Media Manager & Content Creator who can bring insight, creativity, and out-of-the-box, on-trend thinking to building brands, developing their messaging, and creating beautiful visuals that communicate a comprehensive story.

We expect you to have excellent writing skills so you can create comprehensive messaging for brands that maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across all marketing channels. We also would like for you to have a fine attention to detail and good communication skills so you can review projects with a fine-tooth comb and communicate effectively with the team as everyone brings their exceptional skills to each project. While we don’t expect you to be a designer, we do want you to come up with relevant concepts and be able to communicate directions to our graphic designer to seamlessly bring your ideas to life. Having photography skills is a plus.

Requirements:

Must be able to work in our Newport Beach office
3-5 years of experience developing and leading branding and social media marketing campaigns (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, etc)
Exceptional writing skills that give you the ability to develop unique, well-thought-out messaging for brands that tell a comprehensive story.
Experience in creating content for and posting on all social media platforms including, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Linkedin, X, etc.
Understanding of good design, unique ideas, and creative thinking.
A passion for culture and social media trends.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks/clients at a time.
Knowledge of Canva, Hootsuite, Shopify, Email Newsletter platforms, Facebook Ads Manager, Wordpress, Google Analytics, Google Suite, and more.
Photography experience and graphic design abilities are a plus.
Experience giving feedback to team members and editing their work.

Job Description:

Managing and creating social media content for 3 to 4 clients.
Coming up with post concepts, creating content calendars, creating graphics for posts, writing shot lists and suggested scripts, filming content for reels, writing captions, engaging with comments and followers, etc.
Creating content for clients that maintain consistent brand voice and tone across all marketing channels.
Having a designing eye to advise on design direction for logo, color selection, font choice, and overall visuals for brands (and clearly communicate ideas to a designer).
Researching information and quickly gathering insight to create modern and on-trend branding material.
Communicating ideas to a graphic designer who can then bring your ideas to life.
Leading and facilitating discussions and guiding creative direction.
Effectively collaborating and managing your clients to bridge the gap between clients’ needs and our recommendations.
Formulating creative design strategy.
Being aware of new trends, new marketing strategies, and other important information.
Making sure projects are running smoothly and meeting deadlines.
Working well and collaboratively with team members.
Taking constructive criticism gracefully and using it to make ideas even stronger.
Giving feedback and edits to other team members' work.
