Our goal is to raise the firm’s visibility by using our global marketing and communications platform to support our firm, its publicly-traded vehicles, and its sales and client marketing efforts. We seek to deliver the most effective, innovative, and scalable ways to express the traits that set Blue Owl apart.

The role is designed for a highly-motivated, self-directed leader who is comfortable operating in situations without an established playbook. The Head of Content will partner closely with teams across corporate marketing, client marketing, communications, investment platforms, investor relations, legal, and compliance to align on corporate-level content priorities, influence shared processes, and improve how content is created, used, and distributed. The position also involves providing leadership to the firm’s video program, ensuring video is integrated into the broader content ecosystem and deployed strategically to support business and brand objectives.

Bring key stakeholders across the firm along to align on editorial priorities, drive adoption of shared workflows, partner with client marketing to address content gaps and redundancies, and ensure content is developed and deployed strategically and efficiently.
Develop and maintain relationships with a network of senior experts throughout the firm and externally to ensure flawless execution and timely delivery of corporate-level content, including white papers, articles, thought leadership, product collateral, platform-onboarding materials, among others.
Partner with marketing teams to develop content optimized for and to distribute it through a wide array of channels, including web, email, social, events, podcasts, advertising, earned-media, collateral, etc.
Liaise with teams across client marketing, investor relations, investment platforms, social, communications, legal, and compliance to support the adaptation of corporate-level content to the needs of our distinct and diverse audiences.
In partnership with marketing, define and socialize standards and guidelines that support consistency in brand, messaging, tone, and quality across content outputs.
Collaborate with marketing partners to measure the success of content performance and distribution, conducting post-campaign analysis to refine content strategy, inform prioritization, demonstrate ROI, and improve effectiveness over time.
Provide leadership over the firm’s video program, helping to reinforce video as a core pillar of the content ecosystem and to ensure that video output is strong, polished, and supports broader content and business goals.
Navigate ambiguity and competing priorities with sound judgment, diplomacy, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
