The Social Media & Marketing Coordinator will work directly with the Operations Team of the organization. The primary goal of this position is to promote the company’s brands through social media and various types of events. In addition, there is a variety of functions that include marketing to business network groups, neighbor and client relations, team events, as well as supporting the brand experience. Through these efforts, we aim to attract new clients & establish stronger relationships with our business partners. The Social Media & Marketing Coordinator will work with all departments within Brush Arbor Corporate family to facilitate many of the marketing aspects needed to promote three company brands and one charitable organization while communicating the Brush Arbor Way effectively. This position requires the ability to travel between Loudoun County, Fairfax County as well as the District of Columbia as needed for any given task.

KEY DUTIES

Social Media

Work with Operations Team to implement social media strategy with the goal of growing online engagement for three companies and one charitable organization: Brush Arbor Homes, BA Exteriors, Studio 37 Cabinetry and Buy One, Build One.

Build a range of engaging social media content (e.g., videos, photos, polls, key messages).
Create, write/edit, schedule, and publish regular posts on platforms including – but not limited to – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Capture, edit, and manage photos and videos for all types of media purposes while organized on company file system.
Analyze and assess performance across social media channels. This includes performance of individual posts and content to measure effectiveness, efficiency, and impact. Prepare consistent reporting and analysis to track social performance.
Create and manage content calendar to ensure posts are effectively and strategically executed.
Provide real-time social media monitoring of comments on platforms, develop strategy for replying, direct customer questions to appropriate teams.
Serve as departmental social media liaison to ensure consistency of the social guidelines and brand; manage incoming requests/deliverables.
Identify new and emerging trends and insights across all platforms to help Operations Team optimize digital strategy and uncover opportunities to reach new audiences.
Collaborate with Operations Team on the development of overall social media strategy to meet revenue goals, build brand awareness, and enhance audience engagement.

Marketing

Collaborate with Operations Team as well as Management Team of the three companies to implement marketing plans.
Attend monthly and quarterly Marketing meetings with Marketing Firm.
Attend Business Network meetings as required to market companies.
Collaborate with Operations Team to create and implement issuance of Client Newsletter as well as a Mission focused Newsletter to be distributed throughout the year.

Event Coordination

Coordination will occur with the various team members for events, meet and greets to supporting the brand experience. Many of the tasks that support this coordination include:

Support the Project Manager(s) with Neighbor Relations throughout build projects.
Support Operations and Project Managers with Client Relations throughout build projects.
Work with Operations Team to design and coordinate the purchase of client, neighbor and team gifts.
Work with Operations Team with the design and coordinate the purchase of branded merchandise.
Assist with the coordination of company-wide teambuilding activities, lunch and team building events, education out-reach and volunteer/service events.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Strong communication, copywriting and editing skills.
Must have organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail.
Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Knowledge and understanding of social media landscape, including engagement strategies, content types and implementation.
Experience with social media scheduling tools.
Understanding of video editing basics and using Adobe Premiere, iMovie or other in-app tools.
Adept with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva and Microsoft Office Suite.
iPhone/Apple user preferred.
Ability to work independently & with team members.
