Marketing Content Coordinator

Job Snapshot: This is an entry-level, part-time position focused on supporting the content team across a variety of tasks including writing, editing, research, platform and media management, and other tasks as needed. Based in Los Angeles, the Marketing Content Coordinator will work closely with the Butcher Bird Studios content team and Marketing Lead to maintain and grow the company’s digital presence through copy writing, marketing, and asset creation.

What You'll Do

- Work with the content team to develop, write, and edit long and short-form video content utilizing recorded footage that support the needs of the social media and marketing calendars
- Assist the Marketing Lead on a variety of different internal and client facing projects
- Write copy and maintain a unified brand voice across different social media channels, blogs, web copy, pitch decks, and newsletter
- Aid in researching industry related conferences, speaking engagements, and awards for Butcher Bird to submit for
- Help maintain and organize the current media asset organization system in Vimeo, Frame.io, and Google Drive
- Research and implement social media best practices
- Monitor social media channels for industry trends
- Review analytics and create reports on key metrics

About You

- You're a recent graduate who studied New Media, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Creative Writing, or a similar field looking to get marketing and social media experience in the entertainment industry
- You love creating and editing videos, whether they're short-form TikToks or Reels, or longer form videos for YouTube or Vimeo
- Experience in Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Canva are a plus, but candidates with an interest in learning video editing software are encouraged to apply. We can teach you the Adobe Creative Suite!
- You must have strong writing abilities, and an interest in writing a variety of copy, such as social captions, blogs, newsletters, and technical deep dives (don’t worry–we’ll teach you the tech!)
- You're a self-starter that is comfortable working on projects that are new and unfamiliar
- You’re a creative thinker who enjoys problem solving
- You are proactive with excellent time management skills, be able to meet deadlines, and the have ability to prioritize without micromanagement
- You’re a seeker of further education who isn’t afraid to ask questions
- You have a positive demeanor and a passion for snacks!

Please note, this position will be part-time between 20-30 hours a week at $18-22/hour based on experience. These hours will be a hybrid of remote work, as well as work in our Glendale studio, and the schedule is flexible in nature. This is meant to be an entry-level position in which we will help you grow your skills and experience.
