We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Specialist to help us in our overall marketing efforts. You will be an integral part of the development and execution of marketing plans to reach targets from brand awareness to product promotion. A Marketing specialist should be a competent professional able to grasp consumer behavior trends and generate creative ideas. You should also be well-versed in specialized marketing concepts, principles and tactics. The goal is to deliver effective marketing programs that will help our reputation and growth.

Responsibilities:

Collaborates with sales to fully understand product and communication needs.
Gathers the materials necessary to understand the competitive market such as literature or previous marketing campaigns; makes an analysis to determine the most effective communication technique.
Based on assessments, drafts and proposes communications campaigns, which may include social and online media, print media, direct mail, blogs, and other multimedia.
Increases the CementPro brand visibility via SEO and copywriting strategies
Participates in the development of a variety of multimedia packages, including video development, by providing technical knowledge and in-person interactions.
Responsible for the maintenance of the company’s website, to include routine updates, complete re-designs, and efficiently leveraging outside vendor support as needed to optimize website performance.
Periodically performs external and internal audits of our product’s technical data sheets to ensure necessary information is included and the presentation is visually aesthetic for the end user.
Responsible for sustaining a community consisting of a variety of external customers and stakeholders accomplished through a variety of communication mediums.
Increase community engagement and visibility of the brand through a variety of social media channels.
Participates in ongoing education and training as provided by a variety of credible sources.
Contributes towards the maintenance of the company’s CRM platform as it relates to the marketing process.
Leverages ClickUp to properly track projects assigned to the Marketing team and adheres to project timelines.
Ensures the Marketing Content Calendar is updated and content is deployed as scheduled.
Responsible for collecting content, editing, and deploying a finished newsletter on a monthly basis.
Operates as the Marketing Connection contact for The Home Depot account with responsibilities to include maintaining product item data.
Evaluates the success of campaigns when completed.
Attends trade shows and similar marketing events.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Proven experience as marketing specialist or similar role
Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and market research methods
Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools
Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
Knowledge of HTML, CSS and web development tools (e.g. Dreamweaver) desired
Well-organized and detail oriented
Exceptional communication and writing skills
Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind
BS/BA in marketing, communications or equivalent
