A dynamic and growing architectural firm seeks an energetic and proactive individual to manage and coordinate marketing activities across CUBE 3’s offices in Lawrence, MA, Boston, MA, New Jersey and Miami, FL. Applicant should have a broad skill set and have excellent communication skills, plus proficiencies to create and produce a variety of content. The applicant should have a strong background in the design industry with experience supporting upper level management. Further, the Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Senior Leadership to manage the firm’s event schedules, handling confidential contracts and assisting with special projects.

This position reports directly to the Principal in charge of marketing.

Responsible for planning, creating, implementing and measuring the success of:

Planning

Work with senior management to develop marketing plans and calendar to track all marketing activities across the organization. Include business development events, conference and tradeshows, marketing and advertising opportunities, release of industry publications, educational events, team building events etc.

RFP / RFQ / Portfolios (monthly – as needed)

· Shall be a motivated leader of the RFP creation process who has the talent to write and produce RFP responses by working independently and/or working with various team members

· Responsible for managing the internal production process, collaborating with internal teams and external providers to gather all necessary content for each unique RFP

· Keep RFP / RFQ team informed all on all requirements and deadlines to successfully generate a cohesive, on-time submission

· Work with external consultants and clients to gather qualification packages, contracts and other RFP / RFQ requirements

· Writing copy and managing the creation of graphics to produce the RFP document in coordination with our copywriting consultant

· Maintaining updated staff resume inventory

· Confirming physical or digital delivery of the RFP before the submittal deadline

· Tracking wins/losses

Event Planning & Coordination (weekly)

· Maintain calendar of relevant events, conferences, and tradeshows throughout the year

· Suggest and schedule events for CEO, Director of Business Development and other Senior Leadership team members.

· Coordinate with senior management to determine budget and appropriate events to attend

· For each event to attend, identify levels of participation, opportunities for advertising/sponsorship etc., coordinate tradeshow enrollment, booth location and reservation, contracts and invoices

· Plan, coordinate and implement multi-touch point event related marketing campaigns

· Coordinate the production of all event related marketing materials and communications, online and offline, booth graphics and other marketing collateral, working with internal design teams or actively producing materials as necessary

Advertising (monthly)

· Research media coverage and industry trends

· Identify appropriate publications to target for advertising, keep track of publication schedule

· Work with publication and advertisers for timely and useable ad submissions

· Develop ad messaging and copy in coordination with copywriting consultant; work with internal creative teams to produce artwork for distribution

· Coordinate videography as necessary for PR efforts and other media

PR / Blog (daily / weekly)

· Proactively seeking press articles relevant to the firm and connected projects

· Storing copies of all relevant articles for future reference

· Assists with firm publicity including awards submittals, publications, and newsletter pieces

· Identifying opportunities for press releases, work with internal teams to gather facts and details, write press releases

· Organize professional photo shoots of completed projects

· Maintaining external PR blog, posting relevant 3rd-party articles and internal produced releases in coordination with copywriting consultant and graphic designer

Website Content (weekly / monthly)

· Responsible for ensuring all website content is fresh and current

· Collaborate with project teams within the organization to elicit project updates and photos etc.

· Update the website using content management tool, coordinating with webmaster as necessary

· Measuring site tracking statistics to identify potential leads and provide input for site updates

Email Newsletter (quarterly)

· Generate regular outbound email newsletter featuring project updates and utilizing articles and press featured on the blog

· Manage list of newsletter subscribers / CRM database

· Measure success of each campaign, delivering a report with success rates and potential leads

Social Media (daily / weekly)

· Manage the firms presence on social media channels: LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram

· Collaborate with copywriting consultant and graphic designer to generate content calendar for social channels

· Track and measure presence across social media channels

Brand Champion (continual oversight)

· Track and monitor the use of the firms brand and various brand assets across all outgoing materials and across all mediums

· Ensure correct and consistent use of all brand assets, logo, tagline, typography, colors, voice through all materials, internal and external facing

Internal Communications

· Responsible for maintaining the firms Intranet site with all internal-facing communications

· Assists CUBE 3 senior management team members with internal firm events and other special projects

Requirements

Experience and Education

· 3-7 years related experience in marketing and communications

· A minimum of 2 years in the architecture, engineering and construction industry.

· Professional bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing and/or communication from an accredited school

· Memberships in relevant marketing trade groups in local and regional markets where CUBE 3 is present
