CyberGuy is seeking an experienced and highly knowledgeable Digital Newsletter Editor.

Position Type: Contract to Perm

About Us: We are looking for a Digital Newsletter Editor/Producer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for curating content, editing submissions, and managing the overall production of our digital newsletter. This role requires a blend of creativity, attention to detail, and digital savvy.

Responsibilities:

Curate and edit content for our digital newsletters.
Collaborate with the content team to identify relevant stories, articles, and features.
Ensure all newsletter content is on-brand, and consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice.
Optimize newsletter content for email marketing platforms and ensure high deliverability.
Analyze performance metrics to improve engagement and open rates.
Manage subscriber list, including segmentation, and personalization.
Stay updated with the latest trends in email marketing and digital newsletters.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Newsletter Editor or similar role.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Love and understanding of consumer tech
Strong understanding of email marketing practices and metrics.
Proficiency in Mailchimp email marketing platform
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
Creative thinking with attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with HTML and CSS for email design.
Familiarity with Wordpress
SEO knowledge and experience.
Graphic design skills and proficiency in Canva.
