This position can reside in the East Coast or Chicago, IL.

We create innovative and award-winning trade show exhibits. To build on our successes, we are looking for a Content Marketing Manager to help amplify the EDE brand.

This individual will be a core member of the EDE team. Aligning with the sales team to help generate attention leading to new opportunities. We see our content marketer as the tip of the sphere. The main goal is to help us create content that educates, inspires, and connects us with our audience.

This fantastic opportunity requires a person who is passionate about media, content, creative, personal, and professional growth, and the details that go into taking a program concept from ideation to implementation.

Responsibilities

Develop targeted content marketing programs which includes responding to client requests for proposals, providing content ideas, recommending appropriate marketing programs, partners, and media outlets, and formulating appropriate timelines.
Create a bi-weekly Newsletter for EDE.
Identify consumer trends and our industry in conjunction with client’s brands.
Understand consumer trends relevant to specific industry verticals (e.g., candy/healthcare).
Maintain knowledge of industry news and developments, conduct brainstorms, and apply entertainment solutions to marketing needs.

Qualifications

Prior experience in Exhibit/Trade show environments
3-5 years content marketing experience.
Experience creating and implementing effective content strategies. Ability to assess, understand and articulate content performance.
Excellent messaging and writing-for-digital skills (i.e., blog, email, ad copy, landing pages, etc.) knows how to find the sweet spot between our target accounts' critical business issues and the solutions we provide.
Prior experience producing content for demand gen campaigns, digital specifically, as well as channel-specific knowledge (web, LinkedIn, email, etc.).
Has an affinity for shooting, interviewing employees and doing exciting behind the scenes videos.
Outside the box thinker/collaborator willingness to be edgy.
