About The Role

Advertising Partnerships are a vital revenue source that supports our independent journalism. As we enter this next phase of expansion, we are looking for an experienced digital marketer to join our team and help lead our advertising sales marketing and ad product development efforts.

The Director, Sales Marketing will help lead the sales marketing efforts for advertising products across our portfolio, including newsletter integrations, digital advertising programs, and sponsorships for in-person and virtual events. You will create compelling sales marketing narratives that effectively communicate the value of the Endpoints audience and ad products to the biopharma advertising community. You should have experience developing and executing sales marketing programs, from ideation to the creation of sales collateral.

The role will report to the Chief Revenue Officer.

What You'll Do

Create Compelling Sales Collateral - In coordination with the leaders across the sales, events, webinars, customer success, and data teams, you’ll develop and maintain a suite of impactful sales collateral to communicate the Endpoints value proposition. This will include everything from evergreen overview decks to event-specific sponsorships and one-off opportunities. You will also work with the sales team to actively craft creative sales materials for client RFPs and potential partnership opportunities.

Develop New Ad Products and Programs - Working closely with the tech, design, sales, and customer service teams, you’ll help develop and deliver new advertising products and programs. You will also create the marketing strategy and sales collateral to effectively introduce those new products to the advertising community.

Be an Expert Partner - Through a sophisticated understanding of industry news and developments, as well as a strong knowledge of digital marketing dynamics, you’ll be an invaluable resource for your colleagues to understand how best to engage our readers and customers.

Bias for Action - From creating sales collateral to crafting new ad product ideas, you’ll actively bring ideas and solutions to the table, along with a willingness to execute on those in whichever ways you can most help.

Your Skills And Experience

8+ years experience in a sales marketing role, preferably at a digital media company
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral. Comfortable regularly communicating strategy and recommendations to senior leadership
Proven track record developing and executing successful sales marketing programs, from creative ideation through collateral creation
Extensive experience creating sales collateral in PPT, Google Slides, Adobe, etc.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to seamlessly work with colleagues across the organization to deliver projects and results on short timelines
An entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to make fast progress with a wide mandate
Experience marketing to advertisers in the Pharma, Biotech, CROs, CDMOs, Finance/VC, Healthcare, Consulting, and Tech categories a plus

The Pay Range For This Role Is

130,000 - 140,000 USD per year(Remote)
