Job Description

THE POSITION:

As an important member of the Marketing and Corporate Communications Department, the Corporate Communications Specialist plays a pivotal role in raising awareness of company priorities to a variety of stakeholders through internal and external channels. We’re looking for a passionate, talented storyteller with strong attention to detail who wants to find stories, tell them through multiple communication channels, and help track the impact of the broader team’s work while knowing they are making a difference.

Specifically, the position will support content development, multi-channel distribution, and analytics and reporting. The Specialist will also provide logistics support for both virtual and in-person events. The right candidate will be a self-starter with a “whatever it takes” attitude who can take initiative on day-to-day tasks and support growing team needs. The Corporate Communication Specialist must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while having the proficiency to shift priorities based on team and company priorities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams. These results are achieved by:

Writing and supporting content development for both internally and externally focused teams, including but not limited to internal articles, press releases, award submissions, digital signage content and company-wide communications, including supporting the creation of a weekly email newsletter.
Having previous communication and content development experience, working either in an agency environment or in a corporation, preferably in the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry.
Being experienced and knowledgeable on email and employee communication platforms like MailChimp, WordPress or similar platforms.
Bringing strong project management and attention to detail skills to the table. Prior experience with systems like Smartsheet or Microsoft Planner are ideal but not required.
Helping maintain and enhance a strategic editorial calendar across both internal and external communication channels
Consistently monitoring and supporting content publishing across EVERSANA social media channels to ensure content is current and optimized to attract the right talent
Supporting the management of the company’s presence on Glassdoor, Indeed, and other similar review sites
Working closely with teams to plan and execute employee-focused events (virtual and select in-person)
Being a collaborator who can work across teams, deliver quick results and bring a “whatever it takes” attitude to work every day.
Assisting in tracking timelines and monthly metric reporting, as well as ad hoc requests as needed.

Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

Bachelor’s Degree required, Communications, Marketing, Organizational Communication or Public Relations preferred
1-2 + years of experience in a communication, project management, or public relations role.
Excellence in written and verbal communication.
Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills, including the ability to work with direction but under minimal supervision.
Manages time wisely and communicates workload and project status effectively. Self-managing, independent and able to shift priorities as needed.
Technology savvy and proficient in most office software systems, including Microsoft Office, WordPress, and social media reporting and publishing platforms like Hootsuite.
Self-starter with a positive attitude and team player who is willing to learn new processes quickly and bring innovative new ways to solve them.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Excellent organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
Ability to be flexible with projects and working hours.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in a corporate communication role focused on either internal or external communications is preferred.
Experience supporting and managing different aspects of employee communication including sourcing employee stories and content development
Multi-media, video development and production experience is a plus but not required.
Experience working in platforms including but not limited to SharePoint, Canva, SmartSheet and similar systems and project management tools is ideal.

EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $52,000 to $65,000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). EVERSANA reserves the right to modify this base salary range at any time.
