The Feedfeed is a media company, content studio, and social media community dedicated to food and drink, reaching over 40 million people a month. Since our inception in 2013, the #feedfeed community and in-house editorial team have developed some of the most creative, engaging, and mouth-watering content across social media making Feedfeed "the source for what to cook, bake, eat and drink."

Job Summary

We are looking for someone to lead our small (but mighty) creative team that consists of social media coordinators, food editors / video producers. At a high level you and your team will be responsible for:

Growth of our social accounts, of traffic that our socials drive to our website, of our email newsletter subscribers from social, and shop sales from social
Community Features oversee curation of UGC content across our socials, with an eye towards ensuring diversity of content and creators. (note: 90% of what we feature comes from UGC shared with us by our community).
Community Management Your team is also responsible for nurturing and growing the Feedfeed community on social, primarily Instagram and TikTok.
Define the Editorial & Posting Calendar and content priorities for the company - Your team curates the UGC we share, determines the editorial content we produce in house and organizes the sponsored content naturally into the posting calendar.
Manage and Mentor a team of five+ people:
Your team creates content for both our brand sponsors, for editorial features as well as reviews and curates the UGC content submitted by our community to us on social media / directly uploaded to our website.
Hold Weekly 1:1’s with your team members, host weekly team meetings, oversee annual reviews for your team.

Major Job Responsibilities

Define the social and content strategy for Feedfeed on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter - test, learn and pivot as needed
Organize cultural moments and holiday features Feedfeed will promote, work with a cross department team to source creators for cultural moments.
Act as the lead for social gut-checks / audits

Team Oversight:

Review all UGC posts and give approvals and alternates for Instagram(s) and TikTok
Review all captions and headnotes on site - give guidance and feedback when needed
Posting calendar oversight
Review posts as they go live
Provide feedback on videos created in house
Help to integrate the Social and Influencer team to build a stronger creator network.
Act as lead with Account/Influencer teams in terms of delegating/managing sponsored social postings and be aware of clients/SOWs.
Feel comfortable hosting The Feedfeed Podcast from time to time

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

A passion for food, content creation and social media management
Formal or informal culinary experience is a plus - i.e. avid home cook or culinary school trained.
Experience with content creation on social (photo and video)
Proven history of achieving account growth across social media
Proven leadership and staff management skills (i.e 3+ years) where you had direct reports and you fostered a positive, productive, and inclusive team environment.
Ability to build rapport and work effectively across departments
Dedication to publishing content that enhances Feedfeed’s relevance, culinary credibility and reputation.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to set priorities and juggle competing demands.
Must be highly organized and detail-oriented, with experience using standard organization/communication tools (i.e. Asana, Slack).
