PARTNER MARKETING MANAGER

Overview

The ideal candidate possesses a passion for collaboration and achieving goals through strategic and tactical partnership efforts. With an innate ability to form strong business relationships and a solid understanding of marketing, ecommerce and software, the Partner Marketing Manager will drive company goals through partnerships.

This role is highly visible within the industry. A self-motivated “go-getter,” you’ll engage our audience (established, +$1M ecommerce sellers) through partners and actionable content that adds to the larger marketing-sales funnel, customer experience and digital strategy.

The Partner Marketing Manager will work a cross-functional team to deliver informative, actionable experiences. Equal parts go-getter, creative problem-solver and fun-lover, the ideal candidate is strategic, driven, creative and can handle many shifting priorities and projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

The main goal of the Partner Marketing Manager is to extend brand reach and drive demos as a result of partnership efforts.

To do so, the Partner Marketing Manager:

Works closely with the VP, Marketing and other Leadership to align partner strategy
Acts as primary marketing relationship owner with external industry partners
Proactively pursues, plans and executes a variety of shared partner activities (webinars, blog exchanges, newsletter swaps, social media distribution)
Is a creative problem solver and can align partner and Finale goals through shared efforts
Acts as project manager for co-marketing partner projects
Is responsible for tracking and reporting lead exchange between partners
Will attend and/or plan industry events as needed
Actively researches and is in the know about industry trends (ecommerce, IMS, partner management)
Collaborates with internal stakeholders (i.e. content marketing manager, biz ops team, leadership team) on partner projects

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or relevant work experience
Experience or strong understanding of the customer lifecycle
Experience with holistic project management
Skilled with Salesforce (or other CRM) and the Microsoft Office suite
Ability to navigate corporate structures and ambiguity in order to accomplish goals
Cool, calm demeanor when faced with challenges
Customer-first mindset
Ability to speak with and understand technical team members and topics
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate efficiently with individuals at all seniority levels
Working knowledge of Google Analytics or similar digital analytics tool strongly recommended
Experience with WordPress or Webflow a plus
Experience with corporate social media strategy a plus
Experience selling products on online marketplaces such as eBay, Amazon, and Walmart and/or shopping carts as Shopify and Magento is preferred
Knowledge of eCommerce or online inventory management software preferred
