Position Profile: Marketing and Communications Manager

Position Summary: This person will oversee all company marketing and communications activities for one of the company’s business units. The ideal candidate will have experience with B2B digital marketing including communications, google ads, SEO, social media marketing, newsletter creation, sponsorship management, etc.

Location: Greenville, SC – In office role. Travel is very limited with occasional trips to industry events.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily digital marketing activities for the company.
Spearhead company marketing efforts by managing the development, implementation, and results for all marketing initiatives, including email campaigns.
Manage social media and website content, utilizing 3rd party partners as needed.
Oversee all aspects of company’s sponsorship advertisement programs.
Handle marketing campaigns and coordinate marketing projects through completion.
Organize and support marketing efforts for trade shows, industry events, local networking events, etc.
Ensure company’s brand and messaging is promoted and communicated internally and externally.
Manage direction of company’s marketing and PR efforts including print campaigns, press releases, public service announcements, company newsletter, etc.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Strong understanding of digital marketing principles including social media, Google Ads, Google Analytics, email marketing campaigns, etc.
Must be comfortable working autonomously as well as cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
Must possess an entrepreneurial spirit and be comfortable working in a newly created position, having ownership over all marketing and communications for the business unit.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field preferred but not required.
4+ years of experience in digital marketing and communications.
Strong experience with Microsoft Office required
Experience in the following industries is preferred but not required: Investment firms, real estate, financial services, etc.
