A top Suffolk County, NY based manufacturer seeks a detail oriented Graphic Artist/Social Media Specialist for our in-house Marketing Department.

Skill set

Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, illustrator and inDesign)
Must be creative and deadline oriented
A well-honed design aesthetic
Experienced in social media scheduling and design
Comfortable with creative writing for marketing campaigns
Familiar with maintaining a brand
Must be familiar with product photography and photo retouching
Knowledge of Wordpress a plus
Video editing knowledge a plus

The Graphic Artist/Social Media Specialist will report to the Marketing Director and will contribute to marketing activities, including:

Assist/support/contribute in the development and execution of various marketing campaigns, including strategy, creative development and production
Demonstrate ability to think creatively and provide solid input for contributions
Implement assigned projects within time constraints
Work with outside vendors such as printers, venues, suppliers etc.
Manage inventory and re-ordering of promotional items and supplies
Assist in planning and executing corporate events
Help maintain corporate website and social profiles including posting product updates and social posts
Develop copy and design for press releases, newsletter, corporate website, social media, campaign content, collateral and manuals.
Analyze and report on marketing activities
Aid in the design of new products
Design of corporate and product sell sheets
Basic website maintenance (adding/removing products)
Manage/create/execute content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, & Twitter accounts (imagery and copy)
Implement monthly process and calendar for social media accounts
Strategize and increase social media followers/engagement organically
Write and create content for monthly blog posts/PR utilizing SEO strategies
Shooting high-quality video and photos with DSLR camera (training available)
Editing in Adobe Premiere, Photoshop and Lightroom
Create reels and videos for Instagram
Create graphics for social media posts
Both technically-minded and design-oriented
Analyze reels and posts data to review KPI's and create monthly reports

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years experience marketing and/or web development in a B2B sales environment
Experience managing a brand's social media strategy—including presence and brand voice—that resulted in the growth of a loyal audience base
Deep understanding of the social channels available, successful content formats.
Experience with social media reporting tools and influencer platforms.
Strong relationship-building skills, flexibility and adaptability; with the ability to collaborate, influence and persuade at all levels, both internally and externally
Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
