Position Purpose & Summary

The Recruitment and Training Manager is responsible for team member recruitment and training for all departments within Garden of the Gods Resort and Club. This position will conduct ongoing assessments for departmental hiring needs and determine the best avenues for recruitment. These avenues will include job posting platforms, internal and external career fairs, and partnerships with local schools and agencies. In addition, this position will design and develop all resort training curriculum to include weekly New Hire Orientation, and all other employee training programs. The Recruitment and Training Manager will assist in other general Human Resources duties.

Essential Functions - Recruitment

Develop and establish strategies to enhance the recruitment process to include posting new positions internally and externally, monitoring candidates in all applicable job posting platforms, planning, and participating in internal and external hiring events, and developing partnerships with local schools, agencies, and within the community.
Maintain and update all Job Requisition forms ensuring that our staffing numbers are adequate throughout all departments within the resort based on the resort staffing guide.
Work with VP of Human Resources on all aspects of the international recruitment process with our J-1 Visa Student applicants. This includes partnering with our international recruitment agency, completing required paperwork for student visa approval, conducting student interviews with specific department leadership via skype, zoom or Microsoft teams, arranging local housing for international students and transportation to and from housing to the resort.
Conduct position wage surveys annually and as needed for all departments and positions to ensure we are competitive within our market both locally and nationally.
Administer and evaluate behavioral assessments through Predictive Index.
Manage and organize hiring process/paperwork to include background checks and background check communication.

Essential Functions - Training

Plan, prepare, update as needed and facilitate weekly New Hire Employee Orientation.
Monitor departmental new hire training for all departments to include department training checklists. Review all training materials annually and provide updates and support as needed.
Conduct needs assessments annually; to include job task analysis.
Organize and aid in scheduling and tracking supervisor/manager training, to include New Leader Orientation, I am Proud, and Train the Trainer training.
Coordinate, track and facilitate (or coordinate facilitator), as needed, all regulatory compliance training such as: HIPAA, ServSafe, Mandatory Reporter, PCI, and OSHA - including, CPR, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Safety Training.
Create and maintain content for employee communication throughout the property using all current methods of communication including email, bulletin boards, All Team Meetings, All Leader Meetings, social media, intranet, and the Enriching Newsletter.
Track and ensure all employee related licensures and certificates are up to date and valid for the state of Colorado.
Deliver "I Am Proud" service standards and department-specific signature touch points.
Establish cross-departmental channels of communication among teammates that are consistent and complete.

Co-chair the resort's Culture Committee by coordinating monthly meetings, assisting with planning, coordination, and facilitation of team member relations events/programs to include but not limited to, Team Member Appreciation Events, Summer and Holiday Parties, Length of Service recognition, Gateway Club celebration and other recognition programs.
Coordinate employee nominations of monthly Enriching Lives recognition program including the arrangement of reward and monthly presentation within the employees' department.
Work with VP of Human Resources to arrange and conduct annual Team Member Engagement Survey and action planning follow up.
Attend all Human Resource functions and assist in implementation as required.
Assist in general Human Resources duties such as audits, and data entry. Assist other departments throughout the resort, as needed

Position Requirements

Minimum Knowledge & Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong PC Skills including Microsoft Word, Power Point, Outlook, and Excel required.
Social media expertise needed.
Formal Education and Job-Related Experience:
College degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of hospitality experience required and 1-year supervisory experience in hospitality preferred.
Previous Human Resource experience preferred.
License, Registration, and/or Certification Required: Valid Drivers License
