Event Planner / Resident Experience Manager

Salary: $60,000 - $90,000 + performance bonus

This is a brand-new luxury building opening summer 2023. This position will give the right candidate the opportunity to shape the culture and resident experience of a Class A building in NYC.

The ideal candidate has a hospitable and creative personality reinforced with an exceptional business acumen and tech-savviness. This position will not only maintain amenities and programming, but also support residents with all requests and events. Additionally, this position may manage sections of the back-end of the property app, manage monthly newsletters, and create resident facing marketing and event collateral.

This is a brand-new role in a new luxury high-rise building. This position provides exemplary concierge services for residents by serving as an informational resource for the property – arranging events, services, gifts and reservations. This role is responsible for accurate reports detailing resident requests and billing of services, if required.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

As Lifestyle Resident Manager you will create the following services:

Programming:

with the goal of developing a sense of inclusion and community
offer concierge services to residents, by providing unsurpassed five-star customer experiences
curates unique and worthwhile activations in common spaces
maintain master calendar of classes and events, including group fitness classes and building events
maintain accurate program budget

Marketing & Communication:

engage residents and creates marketing to encourage participation in building events
develops a monthly email newsletter regarding events occurring in the building and around the areas

Concierge Services & Amenity Center:

create and maintain an up-to-date knowledge for events, attractions, restaurants, hotels, tours and transportation schedules in the surrounding area
manage all aspects of amenity space including rentals, reservations, security deposits, and maintain quality amenity spaces

Partnership with Property Management:

curate memorable welcome gifts for residents
provide detailed reporting of all resident interactions
be available during leasing tours if needed, providing a glimpse into the resident experience

Manage the tenant app:

maintain relevant app content that is in-line with brand standards
ensure services, events, and offerings are accurate at all times
market and promote app usage with tenants

YOU ARE:

able to engage residents to participate in events and programming
knowledgeable about local cultural, dining, and events in area
able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, accommodating and communicating to a broad range of clientele with varied needs
a motivated self-starter who can work with minimal supervision
a creative problem solver
proactive, approachable, and solution-focused
professional in demeanor and appearance
excellent at interpersonal and communication skills
experienced at marketing & event planning

YOUR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

At least two - three years’ experience in marketing or event planning

Previous concierge or VIP retail/hospitality experience highly preferred

Knowledgeable on Microsoft Office, iOS functions, marketing or graphic design software, and digital technology
