What you will be doing:

The Brand Manager, Global Licensing will be responsible for developing and handling long-term relationships with both current and new Licensors identified by the company for its Beauty & Wellness (B&W) division – initially, Procter & Gamble (P&G), Honeywell and Revlon. Quickly develop a proven understanding of Helen of Troy’s B&W sales and marketing growth strategies across its many businesses, to increase the value of the current licenses to help support these strategies achieving its long-term growth goals as they relate to the licensed brands. You will also play a reverse role as Licensor of our own brand, PUR, and any other B&W brands that are identified for future out-licensing.

Be the primary point of contact for day-to-day interaction with P&G, Honeywell, and Revlon, as well as PUR licensees, regarding partnership management.
Work closely with the VP, Strategic Partnerships and Business Unit (BU) Marketing teams to ensure that each licensed brand has a clear role within its respective category(s) and a plan for long-term development.
Collaborate with B&W’s Creative & Studio Services teams to translate licensor graphic guidelines, developing licensor-approved style guides and assets. Support in reviewing artwork submissions to licensors, with an eye to ensuring equity compliance and facilitating rapid approvals.
Responsible for coordinating inputs from Finance, BU Marketing, International Marketing, and product development teams in developing regular business reviews with key licensing partners and for sharing the outcome of such meetings with the broader B&W organization.
Lead and Manage contract licensing requirements throughout the organization and work with B&W teams across functions, including Engineering, Regulatory and Operations, to ensure compliance and regular reporting as required.
Engage the Customer Service & Quality teams to quickly address any product issues as they may arise.
Handle internal coordination and communication with key owned-brand collaborators cross-functionally to ensure adherence to the licensing stage-gate process.
Work alongside the Associate Brand Manager, Licensing to identify, sponsor and facilitate global sharing of best methodology across B&W and International Marketing functions, as well as sharing of key Licensor/Licensee activity via a quarterly e-newsletter.
Report to Senior Management regarding the company’s performance against licensed brand health and development objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors’ degree in business, marketing or related field
5+ years’ experience in Global Licensing, marketing and/or brand management with a focus on new business growth achievement
Experience in the CPG industry and full understanding of marketing principles
Ability to interact and report on business with cross functional teams and across all levels of management
Confirmed project and time management skills, able to handle and direct multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Travel: Domestic and International 10%-15%
Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
