This position will support the Marketing Manager in executing the Hope for Flowers’ marketing strategy and managing ongoing marketing, public relations, and customer service responsibilities. The ideal candidate would be working on a bachelor’s degree in marketing/advertising or a creative industry, as well as some visual design experience. This individual should be self-motivated, eager to learn, and driven to help others succeed. This paid position is based in Detroit.

Responsibilities

● Assist in executing a company-wide marketing strategy with direction from a Marketing Manager.

● Assist in marketing strategy across all marketing platforms, including social media accounts, email newsletter, website blog, etc.

● Support the creation of marketing content including visual assets and messaging.

● Support website/web management.

● Manage customer service inquiries driven by the website.

● Support additional marketing-related activities as needed, such as organizing photoshoots, supporting sales opportunities, etc.

Qualifications

● Excellent oral and written communication

● Proficient in social media platforms- Instagram, LinkedIn

● Excellent copywriting skills

● Able to independently create visual assets

● Digital proficiency and graphic design skills (text, image, and video)

● Graphic design skills and photo editing experience are a plus

● Interest in sustainability and ethical fashion is a plus

● General aptitude for technology

● Great project management and organizational skills
