Designer/Account Manager/Installation & Pop-Up Coordinator

This position calls for a creative person who loves making things happen – which includes communicating with other departments and doing the paperwork to make installations efficient and successful. Once the basic functions are completed, this job is what you make it, and can grow as the company grows.

This is an exciting opportunity for floral artists, someone with a background in landscaping, floral design, set design, art, retail design, account management or sales. We are willing to train the right person in any aspect of the position as needed.

Primary responsibilities include:

Maintain our exterior and holiday book of business
- Includes meeting with clients, refreshing designs for current year, completing design layouts, paperwork to complete jobs, and ordering product.
- Also includes tracking expenses so jobs stay within budget.
Account Manage interior accounts. Sell as possible.
Build relationships with existing clients.
Build holiday displays and exterior spectacle items as needed. (Also an occasional orchid or succulent bowl.)
Create & hold fun pop-up shops and holiday sales with on-trend display items.
Work with Operations Department to ensure proper installation of jobs.
Maintain company’s photo archives and marketing materials. Update the website as needed.
Assist in creating design presentations to new and existing clients.
Manager Email List and newsletter schedule.
Sell new business as appropriate.

Skills required: people skills, team player, willingness to jump in and do anything, computer & Microsoft office literate (there is a lot of excel work), design literate, basic understanding of landscaping principles, high level organizational skills, and willingness to follow a system.
