About the Role

Supporting the Senior Account and Project Manager, the Web Support and Newsletter Marketing Specialist will coordinate client website updates and newsletter campaigns for Humanity Communications client base using various website and email marketing platforms.

Position Responsibilities

● Collaborate with the creative team to add, edit, and update content to client websites, including the need for updating graphics and other visual elements for each platform

● Collaborate with Humanity’s teams to craft and send out monthly newsletters for Humanity’s client marketing campaigns

● Ensure all website updates and newsletter campaigns align with client brand voice and tone and that emails follow industry standards and privacy policies

● Manage deadlines and track and communicate any signs of project delay

● Perform other duties as assigned

Experience

● 1 to 3 years experience providing website and newsletter support, preferably in marketing or communications.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

● You have demonstrated experience on the ins and outs of email marketing and newsletter campaign platforms, preferably Active Campaign, Salesforce and MailChimp

● You have demonstrated skills updating and designing website landing pages with content including graphics, preferably: WordPress, SquareSpace, Wix and WebFlow

● Understanding of how to pull metrics and has knowledge of Google Analytics

● An aptitude for problem solving and resourcefulness

● Patience and flexibility in adapting to project and client needs

● Proficient with G-Suite, Microsoft Office Suite and preferable Project Management software, specifically Asana a plus

● Basic knowledge of Canva

● Solid written and oral communication skills

● Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

● Can work efficiently and professionally with minimal oversight

● Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

● Commitment to lifelong learning

● Interest in working with social justice causes a plus
