Great design knows when to let the story speak.

At Inhabit Collective, we believe the best design doesn't compete for attention. It creates space for what matters—the architecture of a home, the character of a neighborhood, the people behind a business and the stories worth telling.

We're an independent real estate brokerage rooted in Coastal Orange County, with a distinct point of view on design, storytelling and the communities we serve. Our aesthetic is thoughtful, editorial and understated. We believe in beautiful typography, intentional composition, compelling photography and the kind of quiet confidence that doesn't need to announce itself.

We're looking for a talented Brand & Editorial Designer to join our team full-time at our San Clemente office. Someone with an exceptional design eye, strong technical skills and a genuine appreciation for craftsmanship. Someone who understands that luxury isn't about adding more, but knowing what to leave out.

You'll work directly with our co-founder and agents, helping bring the Inhabit brand to life while elevating their individual businesses. This is a hands-on, collaborative role for someone who brings ideas, takes initiative and is ready to jump in wherever needed.

No task is too small when the details matter.

What You'll Do

Design luxury property brochures, listing presentations, postcards, signage and print collateral.
Create editorial-inspired social media content, digital campaigns and branded materials.
Support individual agent branding while maintaining Inhabit's established visual identity.
Develop thoughtful layouts using typography, photography, composition and white space.
Prepare production-ready artwork for in-house and professional printing.
Contribute to newsletters, website content, community storytelling and editorial projects.
Collaborate with agents, photographers and creative partners while managing multiple projects and deadlines.

What We're Looking For

Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
A portfolio demonstrating exceptional design taste, typography, composition and attention to detail.
Experience designing for both print and digital platforms, including print production and file preparation.
An appreciation for understated luxury, architecture, interiors and editorial design.
Strong organizational skills, initiative and the ability to work independently.
A collaborative, adaptable attitude and willingness to contribute wherever needed.
Genuine curiosity about real estate and an interest in learning the business.

Experience in luxury real estate, architecture, interiors, hospitality or lifestyle branding is a plus.

Beyond the Portfolio

We're looking for someone who is curious, collaborative and genuinely invested in the work. Someone who asks questions, takes initiative and enjoys solving problems. Who can receive feedback without ego, offer ideas without needing to own every decision and understands that great design is often the result of thoughtful editing.

You don't need to arrive knowing everything about real estate. But you do need to want to learn. Our agents and their clients are at the center of what we do, and understanding their businesses is an essential part of creating meaningful work.

Why Inhabit?

We're a locally owned, independent brokerage where relationships matter, individuality is valued and creative work has a real purpose. You'll work directly with our team across beautiful properties, distinctive agent brands and community storytelling.

We're not looking for someone to reinvent our identity. We're looking for someone who appreciates what we're building and wants to help make it better.
