Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a talented Email Newsletter Designer to join their creative team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in HTML and CSS for designing email templates, as well as proficiency in graphic design using Figma. The Email Newsletter Designer will play a crucial role in crafting visually appealing and engaging email campaigns that resonate with the client's subscribers.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop visually stunning email templates using HTML and CSS, ensuring compatibility across various email clients and devices.
Collaborate with the content team to conceptualize and execute email newsletter designs that align with our brand identity and editorial style.
Utilize Figma to create mockups, wireframes, and prototypes for email designs, incorporating feedback from stakeholders to refine and finalize designs.
Optimize email templates for deliverability, engagement, and conversion, leveraging best practices in email design and user experience.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the effectiveness and creativity of our email campaigns.
Work closely with the marketing team to implement A/B testing and analyze performance metrics to optimize email design and content strategy.
Provide support for other design projects as needed, including but not limited to website graphics, social media assets, and digital advertisements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field.
Proven experience in designing and coding HTML email templates, with a strong understanding of email marketing best practices.
Proficiency in HTML and CSS, with the ability to hand-code responsive email designs.
Advanced skills in graphic design software, particularly Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
Strong portfolio showcasing email newsletter designs, graphic design projects, and proficiency in Figma.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to adhere to brand guidelines while bringing creativity and innovation to design projects.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Hubspot, Marketo, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Emma) and knowledge of email deliverability best practices is a plus.
