Hybrid role, based out of Palo Alto, Ca. Majority of work will be fully remote.

This is a 3 month contract at this time.

Summary:

Develops or acquires images used in a variety of creative projects (ads, brochures, corporate identity, packaging, presentations, promotional displays, signage, websites, etc.) and oversees the design, layout and formatting of these materials. Incumbent must possess a strong sense of concept development, in addition to communication, collaboration, research, problem-solving and presentation skills.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is required.
Develops and owns original creative concepts and directs the successful execution of the idea.
Executes design and graphic production processes required to produce final creative product.
Designs web assets that accurately reflect the organization’s goals, objectives and identity.
Creates concepts, artwork and layout for sites and other online projects based on creative briefs and client meetings.
Manages the development of creative materials including: Flyers and flyer templates, posters and poster templates, banners and banner templates, brochures and brochure templates, email templates, newsletter templates (digital and print), internal support items such as stationery, business cards and way finding signs, digital graphics and web support for internet, intranet and social media sites.
Assures communication to requestors on progress and delivery of final product within agreed upon timelines.
Assures standards, templates and quality control check points and reviews are in place to deliver all materials that represent the level of expected quality.
Provides in-house graphic support and consultation.
Develops creative graphic designs for variety of print, online and direct mail advertising materials.
Works with hospital and marketing leadership to support the creative direction and development of any full scale plans needed for projects

MINMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university

Experience

· Three (3) to six (6) years progressively responsible and directly related work experience

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS & ABILITIES

High level of comfort with verbally contributing to group discussions.
Demonstrates experience owning the original creative concept and directing the successful
execution of that idea.
Ability to work with flexibility, efficiency, and diplomacy, both individually and as part of a
complex team effort.
Demonstrates proficient use of the web, awareness of its design limitations and technical
specifications
Knowledge of computer systems and software used in assigned work area
Skill at negotiating consistently high-quality results under tight deadlines, while maintaining the engagement of contractors/vendors
