Exciting opportunity to join an established and leading country club in Broward County. This position will oversee all club operations:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Implement, direct and administer general policies as established by the Board; plan, develop and approve operational policies, programs and methods; properly address any and all allegations of violations of Club rules, regulations and codes
Attend meetings of the Board of Governors and its committees (if required)
Coordination of the development of operating and capital budgets including monitoring financial statements to ensure implementation of corrective and security measures as appropriate
Coordinate the development and implementation of annual business plan and long term planning
Ensure that the Club operations comply with all applicable, state, municipal and federal rules, ordinances, regulations and laws including establishing and maintaining working relationships with local police and fire, Liquor Control Board and other government agencies
Supervise the Food & Beverage Director, Office Staff, Director of Golf, Golf Course Superintendent, Executive Chef, Racquet Sports Professional and Pool Director
Establish and monitor compliance with all purchasing policies and procedures
Establish and monitor personnel policy, training and programs
Oversee inter-departmental matters and establish and implement all employer-employee policies
Establish policy and rules directives and review and approve such as established by department heads
Ensure that the food, beverage, sports, recreation, entertainment and other NCC services are of the highest standards and implement programs and events to enhance the membership experience
Oversee the proper care and maintenance of the Club property and physical assets
Review and approve the Club newsletter and all other intra-Club information

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree is preferred. Hotel & Restaurant Management or Accounting concentration is desirable
Experience in management leadership role
Ability to lead discussions with Board, current membership, prospective members and local organizations
Thrives in fast-paced and constantly evolving business environment
Must have strong organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, and be able to problem solve with good business ethics
Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal and presentation skills are required
Demonstrated ability in a hospitality environment desirable
