Overview:

Maitri Learning, a national leader in childhood development materials, is seeking an online educator community, brand, and social media footprint builder covering early childhood (toddler, pre-K, K), homeschooling, and adult (caregiver/educator) development
We are nationally recognized in the Montessori market; we are looking to grow in private school, homeschool, (more) Montessori, and adult education markets
The ideal candidate has experience and an educational background in early childhood education/development (not-Montessori) and 2-3 years of experience in online community management and social-media driven marketing
We are passionate about the quality of childhood education and provide teaching guidance with every product we produce - the ideal candidate will understand and effectively message our educational support-based approach to products
Note: This is not a cold-calling sales role. This is a warm-outreach connections, discussions, brand building and messaging-magnifying role that brings us new customers

Responsibilities:

Working with Marketing, define the key messages and channels to effectively reach teachers, homeschool providers, adult educators, and other relevant market segments across social media and online forums

Working with Marketing, create a social media engagement strategy across FB/Meta, IG/ YT, Pinterest, LI and/or TT to:
Identify opportunities / concentration areas of target market
Regularly post teacher education content for the early childhood and adult development market
Support organization, curation and drive traffic to our official YT channel that provides guidance on teaching techniques
Engage in educational discussion boards as a brand ambassador - providing insight and references to (nearly always free) teaching materials without a strong sales push
Produce creative and designed content for social media channels, to generate interest, drive newsletter traffic, support holiday messaging, and more

Stay up-to-date on education trends, to be utilized as audience-engagement points within social media content

Define audience-engagement growth goals and report on key metrics progression across channels

Have a social media personality that is relatable, real, and likable - we want authentic connection and impact with educators as the basis for our product sales
Ability to combine message and visuals together in unique, eye-catching manner
Strong visual ideator; ability to translate visual concepts from idea to draft
Foundational skills in Canva are required, Adobe suite capabilities are preferred, and an innovative / creative mindset for the latest design tools is strongly preferred.
Intermediate graphic design capability and fundamentals of photo and video editing will be essential for success
Fast-paced mover, friendly, inquisitive

Hiring Notes:

2.5 days/week
Contract for 30 days then possible transition to W2
determining reward based on capability
Oversee that they are building out sustainable processes, and outline the necessity of clear goals - brand / revenue / partner categories for every month
