Editorial & Content Manager | minnow

About the role

We're looking for a thoughtful, talented storyteller to help bring the minnow world to life through words.

Working closely with the Head of Creative + Content, you'll help shape and maintain minnow's voice across every customer touchpoint, from campaigns and product stories to email, web, social, print, and beyond.

This is a hands-on creative role for someone who genuinely loves writing, understands how a brand voice comes to life, and can move comfortably between a big seasonal story and the smallest product detail. You'll translate creative direction into clear, compelling, beautifully considered language while making sure everything we say feels distinctly minnow.

We're a collaborative team, so we're looking for someone who brings ideas to the table, welcomes feedback, and enjoys making good work even better together.

What you'll do

Editorial + Copywriting

Help steward minnow's brand voice, keeping our language consistent, recognizable, warm, and distinctly ours
Write thoughtful, engaging copy across web, email, social, paid media, video, SMS, print, experiential, product, and other brand touchpoints
Partner with the Head of Creative + Content to turn seasonal concepts, campaigns, collections, and product stories into compelling narratives
Develop campaign headlines, storytelling concepts, scripts, and editorial ideas that give our creative work an emotional point of view
Write elevated, accurate product copy that communicates what makes each piece special and supports the customer journey
Find fresh ways to talk about categories, launches, promotions, collaborations, and new products
Help create editorial frameworks, messaging tools, and voice guidelines that keep our storytelling consistent as minnow grows
Edit and refine copy across the organization when needed, always protecting the voice of the brand

Social + Content

Bring minnow's voice to life on social through smart, engaging copy and storytelling
Develop weekly editorial ideas and social concepts with the Head of Creative + Content and the broader team
Write captions, scripts, story language, and other copy that feels natural to each platform and still unmistakably minnow
Think creatively about how larger brand and campaign stories can live in smaller, more immediate social moments
Stay curious about culture, our customer, and the evolving ways people consume content, and bring ideas back to the team

Content Planning + Collaboration

Partner with Creative, Brand, E-commerce, Product, and Marketing to understand upcoming launches, key moments, and storytelling needs
Help translate the larger creative and marketing calendar into editorial stories and copy needs
Keep copy projects organized and moving, balancing multiple deadlines and priorities while maintaining a high level of craft
Be a generous creative partner: share ideas, give thoughtful feedback, and help build an environment where the best idea wins
Maintain consistency across channels through strong editing, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of the minnow voice

What we're looking for

6+ years of experience in copywriting, editorial, content, or brand storytelling, ideally within fashion, lifestyle, kids, luxury, or another consumer-facing brand
An exceptional writer and editor with a portfolio that shows both strong brand thinking and beautiful execution
A natural storyteller who understands how words and visuals work together
Experience writing across multiple channels and adapting a brand voice without losing its personality
Strong creative instincts and the ability to turn a brief or idea into compelling language
Comfort moving between conceptual thinking and hands-on writing
Collaborative, curious, organized, and generous with ideas
Comfortable receiving creative direction and feedback, and equally comfortable bringing a point of view to the conversation
A sharp eye for detail and a genuine appreciation for craft
The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines without losing sight of the creative idea
Most importantly, someone who understands that a great brand voice isn't just what we say, it's how we make people feel

What success looks like

You'll know you're succeeding when minnow sounds as considered and distinctive as it looks.

Our voice will feel cohesive across every touchpoint, with enough flexibility to be playful, emotional, informative, or product-focused when the moment calls for it.

Campaigns and collections will have stronger stories behind them. Product will feel more compelling. Social will feel conversational and alive. And our customers will increasingly recognize the minnow point of view before they even see our name.

You'll also become a trusted creative partner, someone the team looks to for language, ideas, storytelling, and that final bit of polish that turns something good into something that feels truly minnow.
