SUMMARY

The Member Services & Marketing Coordinator role at our organization is a vital part of our customer service team. The primary objective is to provide outstanding customer service to our members and guests, both through telephone interactions and direct interactions. The following are the essential duties and responsibilities this role encompasses:

MEMBER SERVICES

Answers the telephone and takes messages
Greets members and guests upon arrival
Provides schedules and information about club activities
Assisting Cruise Leaders with Cruise Details and Cruise Booklets
Offers member services such as copying, faxing, and sending birthday cards
Sorts and distributes incoming and outgoing mail
Maintains postage meter and supplies
Keeps a steady supply of club activities information for members
Updates and maintains member contact information in Jonas
Provides secretarial assistance to managers as requested
Performs various clerical duties (copying, assembling, distributing, etc.)
Works on special projects as assigned
Orders and helps maintain inventory of office supplies
Keeps the reception area neat and inviting
Coordinates and maintains the Golf & Dining Reciprocal List
Assists with the mailing of monthly member statements and special mailings as requested
Must have the ability to be multi-tasking and to keep your composure during stressful situations
Perform employee relations duties

MARKETING

Managing and creating content for our monthly newsletter, The Spinnaker.
Collaborating with the Director of Marketing and team to develop captivating marketing campaigns.
Handling social media accounts and crafting compelling content to boost brand awareness.
Maintaining and updating the club's website with relevant and visually appealing information.
Coordinating email marketing campaigns, including creation and distribution of targeted email blasts.
Working with graphic designers and copywriters to produce marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and ads.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

One to two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of members or employees of the yacht club.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and percentages Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
