Summary of Position

This position manages all media platforms and primarily supports the marketing efforts of NALIP’s programs and fundraising initiatives, with additional focus on the digital communications, website content preparation, paid ads, alumni newsletter, social media content and execution as well as marketing partnerships to promote the NALIP’s programs and outreach.

Duties and Responsibilities

Collaborate with the team to develop marketing strategy and execute marketing campaigns including brand marketing, effective email and social media communications strategies for all programs.
Coordinate logistical marketing needs to support key programs, including liaising with photographers, partner organizations, and vendors as needed.
Work with program leads to create and supply newsletter content and social media posts for NALIP programs and events.
Maintain and distribute the editorial/marketing collateral calendar for NALIP.
File design services requests, create copy and schedule barter ads promoting program initiatives.
Assist in the creation of solicitation mailings and fundraising collateral, as well as complementary website content.
Participate in PR strategy development, helping secure and distribute informational updates on organization's initiatives to PR firms and securing internal approvals for press releases and other materials.
Asset management to update and maintain NALIP website content.
Other assignments and tasks as needed and directed.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience required.
Minimum of 3 years working in digital content, PR and / or marketing capacity
Excellent writing skills – writing clearly and concisely with correct grammar and punctuation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and G-Suite
Familiarity with email Marketing/HTML based software
Knowledge of HTML
Familiarity with Photoshop, Canvas
Ability to maintain attention to detail while multitasking in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to work well in a team and with a range of personalities, diplomacy and patience a must
