DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

Required For This Position:

• U.S. Citizenship

• Ten (10) years or more of experience marketing a Software, IT, Cybersecurity and/or Cloud companies

• Eight (8) or more years of experience in developing internal and external marketing content and deliverables, including but not limited to the following areas:

--Preparation and logistics for Industry shows and events

-- Preparation and logistics of AFCEA Webinars and public presentation events

-- Media advertising and social media activities

-- Product brochures and data sheets

-- PowerPoint presentations

-- Press releases and company newsletter

-- Review and edit company documents

• Five (5) or more years of experience as the Director of Marketing for Software, IT, Cybersecurity and/or Cloud companies

• Three (3) or more years experience in WordPress for website revisions and maintenance

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills, along with a collaborative attitude

• Corporate messaging and branding in public and private sector markets

• Manage the development and improvement of the company’s new website (to be released)

• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (specifically, Outlook Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint)

• Deep experience and proficiency in Active Campaign, or other similar marketing automation systems.

• Experience and proficiency in Adobe InDesign or Microsoft Publisher

• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time to cities which are government hubs: Washington (DC), San Diego (CA), San Antonio (TX), Huntsville (AL), Atlanta (GA), Colorado Springs (CO), Newport News (VA) and similar places.

• A bachelor’s degree from a respected educational institution

Desirable For This Position:

• U.S. Military Veterans

• Marketing experience in the federal government contracts industry is highly desirable

• Experience in proposal management and proposal writing for the federal government market is highly desirable

• Experience and proficiency in building and maintaining website using WordPress is highly desirable

• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics CRM-Marketing and Sales Modules is desirable
