ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive the B2B marketing strategy for QYOU USA to deliver scaled awareness of the company, services and benefits to support new business growth.
This may include trade marketing research and recommendations.
Collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure consistent QYOU messaging and brand identity across all channels and platforms.
Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy that aligns with QYOU’s overall goals and objectives. Strategy will include clear goals and objectives along with ROI analysis.
Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and other key stakeholders to increase exposure and positive perception of QYOU, leading to potential business growth and success overall and within targeted categories.
Create bi-weekly, client-facing newsletter in collaboration with executive team.
Facilitate thought leadership for QYOU USA by supporting the President and Executive Leadership team through speaking engagements, panels and events.
Identify relevant awards programs, work with internal stakeholders to gather the necessary information and supporting materials, prepare and submit winning applications.
Create and oversee the development of compelling content for various channels, including social media, press releases, websites and more. (LinkedIn, Instagram)
Provide analytical data and recommendations on website/social media traffic.
Develop and implement internal communication strategies to keep employees informed and engaged with the organization's goals and initiatives as well as trends in the marketplace (i.e., weekly news brief)
Stay up-to-date with best practices in communication and marketing, and integrate new technologies and tools to improve communication efforts.
Conduct regular analysis of communication strategies and adjust as needed to improve effectiveness and ROI.
Manage industry association relationship subscriptions (for example: ANA).

RESPONSIBILITIES MAY ALSO INCLUDE

Ghostwrite thought pieces and/or social media posts for the executive team.
Manage projects and maintain a PR editorial calendar to align with the internal campaign calendar.
Evaluate the need for a 3rd party PR agency or internal hires and determine if it aligns with the organization's specific needs and objectives.
Serve as chief liaison to oversee any external agencies retained for PR purposes.
Ensure PR agency and / or supporting staff to ensure their efforts align with the organization's overall communication strategy.
Pioneer new and innovative communication strategies for the company, such as webinars, podcasts, original series, influencer partnerships, media / advertising opportunities, SEO & SEM and other untapped and innovative methods.
Develop and maintain crisis communication plans and protocols to ensure the organization is prepared to respond to potential issues or negative publicity.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in a communications-relevant major from an accredited college or university. (Masters degree preferred by not required.)
5-10 years’ experience in corporate communications and/or public relations, preferably some in the Creator Economy space.
Proficiency in quickly grasping and adapting to new software applications.
Strong interest in entertainment (film, tv, gaming) and basic knowledge of the industry.
Must be a self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in the creator economy space.
