Saks OFF 5TH is looking for a Communications Coordinator to join the Communications & Public Relations team. This role will report to the Senior Manager of PR and Brand Communications and support both internal and external needs. We are looking for a well-rounded individual with a go-getter attitude to help us deliver on our communications strategy and amplify the Saks OFF 5TH brand.

Who You Are:

Have 1-3 years of communications, PR and/or agency experience
Strong writer with the ability to tailor messages for specific internal and external audiences
Well-versed in communications and interested in developing skills in all aspects of PR, internal and corporate communications
Experience drafting pitches and internal communications, developing media lists and conducting research
A creative thinker who can help ideate fun and unique angles for press outreach
Familiar with internal communications platforms, such as LumApps, Workday and/or Slack
Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple projects at a time
Collaborative, hard working and eager to learn
Be able to commute to our NYC office 3 times a week

In This Role, You Will:

Research and draft content for a variety of internal and external communications needs, including pitches, newsletter and intranet content, internal memos and more
Work closely with the Senior PR Manager to support execution of the PR strategy
Support internal and external events, including company-wide All Hands, press events and more
Draft and edit content for key internal communications channels, including the intranet, company-wide newsletter and Slack
Build and design Saks OFF 5TH’s weekly newsletter, intranet pages, digital signage and more
Research media opportunities and speaking engagements for Saks OFF 5TH leadership
Stay up-to-date on pop culture, what’s new and trending to support our press outreach
Support the team with meeting and event logistics, scheduling and other duties
Track press mentions and support compiling quarterly reporters
Be a cross-functional team member and integral part of the Communications team

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $55,000 and $62,500/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits), dependent on the position offered.
