Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Content Marketing Intern to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing a curation-heavy newsletter, creating engaging posts for LinkedIn and other industry-focused platforms and communities, producing long-form blog posts for our website, and developing easily digestible visual content such as infographics. This role is great for an independent self-starter looking for autonomy to lead our content strategy with only directional input from leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Newsletter Management

Curate relevant industry news, insights, and updates for inclusion in our newsletter.
Manage the distribution and scheduling of newsletter content to our subscriber base.
Continuously analyze newsletter performance metrics and optimize content accordingly, presenting reports to leadership team monthly.
The ideal cadence would be bi-weekly.

Social Content Creation

Develop and execute a content strategy for LinkedIn to engage with our target audience.
Create compelling posts, articles, and updates to showcase our expertise and services, with the goal of growing brand awareness and generating leads.
Monitor engagement metrics and adjust content strategy to maximize reach and impact.

Article & Blog Creation

Write informative and engaging long-form blog posts for our website.
Optimize blog content for SEO to improve visibility and organic traffic.

Visual Content Creation

Repurpose written content to create appealing infographics, visuals, and other multimedia content.
Translate complex concepts and data into easily understandable and digestible visual formats.
Ensure all visual content aligns with our brand guidelines and messaging.

How success will be measured

This person will focus primarily on top-of-funnel content so success will generally be measured on subscriber growth and new leads generated across our various service offerings.

1. Network Growth

Expand our network of prospective buyers, sellers, and investors through targeted content.
Increase engagement and interactions with our audience across various platforms.

2. Interest Generation

Generate interest in our buy-side and sell-side services among potential clients.
Showcase the benefits and value proposition of our alternative financing solutions.

3. Awareness Building

Enhance brand awareness and visibility within the industry.
Help position Senzu as a trusted and reputable partner for businesses seeking strategic financial solutions.

Qualifications

Recent graduate or currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Strong writing and editing skills, with a keen attention to detail and grammar.
Working knowledge of design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or Figma.
Familiarity with social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, and understanding of audience building, segmentation, and motivations.
Ability to work independently, manage digital assets and multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
Prior experience with content creation, blogging, or digital marketing is a plus.
