Stay Ai is looking for an experienced ecommerce/DTC marketer to join our marketing team as Content Marketing Manager!

About the Role:

The Content Marketing Manager will be a member of Stay Ai’s growing marketing team, responsible for strategizing, collaborating on, and developing content for: Stay Ai’s website, social media, lead generation campaigns, email marketing, and more.

Important Note: This role involves the development of ecommerce thought-leadership resources. For this reason, we are only considering candidates that have, at minimum, 1 year of full-time experience working in the ecommerce industry.

Candidates will only be considered if they have at least one of the following clearly indicated on their resume: 1 year or more working in-house at an ecommerce brand, 1 year or more working in-house at an ecommerce tech company, or 1 year or more working with an agency that services ecommerce brands.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

Owning - creating, updating, and project managing - Stay Ai’s comprehensive content calendar
Developing strategy for and planning out Stay Ai’s content offerings (weekly newsletter, brand social posts, and blog articles) in collaboration with Stay’s Director of Marketing, determining core areas of content focus based on: research/industry trends, internal thought leadership expertise, customer feedback, access to contributed content from strategic partners, and so forth.
Copywriting for Stay Ai’s content offerings (weekly newsletter, brand social posts, and blog articles), in addition to editing/adapting contributed content sourced from customer/strategic partner/industry thought leader interviews. Drafted projects will also require direction/notes for design, so accompanying visual assets can be developed as per the Content Marketing Manager’s recommendations and requests.
Collaborating with marketing and Stay Ai’s leadership on web copywriting projects
Collaborating with industry thought leaders, customers, and strategic partners to source contributed content
Analyzing content performance and prepare reports to inform future planning.

Requirements:

Deeply passionate and knowledgeable about the ecommerce/DTC/CPG/Shopify commerce industry. Up-to-date with industry trends. Regularly pokes around DTC Twitter or LinkedIn, listens to ecomm podcasts, etc.
Loves the entire content creation process - strategizing, ideating, research, drafting, collaborating with other teams as necessary, and bringing the project’s final product to life.
1+ year(s) experience working in-house at one of the following: an ecommerce brand, an ecommerce tech company, or an agency that services ecommerce brands
3+ years experience: writing email marketing campaigns, web copy, and blog articles
1+ years experience: developing B2B social media strategy and/or B2B social media copywriting
Enjoys competitive and market research.
Enjoys chatting with customers, industry leaders, and strategic partners to develop collaborative content.
Strong sense of ownership and project management skills, with a love for working both collaboratively and independently.
