Company Description The Augusta Press is a locally owned online newspaper focused on delivering news and feature coverage in Richmond and Columbia counties. The organization is committed to protecting the public’s right to know by providing thorough reporting on local issues that matter to the community. It emphasizes accountability by closely monitoring and reporting on the actions of local governments and public institutions. As a digital newsroom, The Augusta Press offers opportunities to contribute to impactful local journalism and shape how regional stories are told online.

Role Description The Managing Editor is a full-time, hybrid role based in Augusta, GA. Because the staff is small, the Managing Editor will also help with news coverage, but the parameters of that can be discussed.
