The Buckeye Ranch is seeking a Creative Specialist to join our Marketing & Development department. The Creative Specialist assists the Director of Marketing and Communications and broader Development and Marketing team in creating and implementing strategic marketing and communication plans to effectively inform and promote The Buckeye Ranch’s mission. This position leads development of comprehensive marketing and communication materials that support key service areas and elevate brand awareness of The Buckeye Ranch in the community and to key stakeholders.

Schedule: Full-time, Exempt (Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm)

Location: Whitehall, OH (Hybrid Work Model – In office work required)

What you’ll do:

Lead creation of marketing and communication materials and graphic elements in accordance with The Buckeye Ranch’s brand guidelines for materials including but not limited social media graphics, web graphics, annual appeals, impact reports, infographics, print letter appeals, email marketing, organizational merchandise, and more in partnership with the Director of Marketing and Communications.
Lead content writing, design, posting, and community management for all social media channels.
Develop content to support the growth of key program and service lines to be disseminated via social media, website, newsletter, press releases, and more.
Represent The Buckeye Ranch at community events, as needed.

Who you are:

You preferably have a bachelor’s degree in a marketing related field.
You have three+ years of experience in design, marketing, or communications.
You have proven computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
You have an active driver’s license.
