The Cookware Company is currently seeking an Account Support Coordinatorto join the team! This is a hybrid role.

POSITION SUMMARY

As an Account Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the Director of Gourmet Specialty, Independent Sales Representatives, as well as the retailers and retail buying organizations that we engage with.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

Submit monthly sales recaps for responsible accounts based on POS and orders
Work closely with Finance Dept. to manage sales related chargeback claims
Work with Sales Manager to help prepare for meetings – data for presentations, samples etc.
Work closely with Sales Manager to manage the budgeting and forecasting processes by account
Regular communication with logistics team to ensure proper order processing & inventory management
Responsible for managing new customer setups received from Sales Manager and Sales Representatives
Forecast and inventory planning for specialty stores to include promos and special buys
Perform and present competitive product analysis
Coordinate & keep a log of promotional events and new product launches
Coordinate customer needs to finance, sales managers, and logistics
Ad hoc marketing duties including quarterly newsletter, collateral sales material – catalogs, pricelists, promotional flyers, communicating needs in a timely way to our marketing team
COM maintenance – check websites weekly to ensure items are live, assets are correct & reviews are syndicated.

Specialty Store Responsibilities:

Field daily customer/rep calls and emails
Order management – Main contact through order process to ensure fast & easy setup. Make sure new customer application & orders are processed in a timely manner. Send tracking information. Advise of OOS SKU’s and suggest replacing with similar items.
Update Sales Manager on all Specialty Store business (new customers, calls, etc.) during bi-weekly meetings
Look for new sales representative groups where we do not have coverage. Train new reps. Create a welcome packet with all Cookware Company information. Send samples to all reps.
Manage and send marketing materials – one sheeters, in-store signage, pricelists, etc.
Email blasts to all reps regarding promotions, new items, industry updates, top SKU ranking/OOS lists, etc. Update GC with new products and promotions.
Work directly with house accounts & send regular email updates
Maintain document database for reps where all reps can easily access all TCC documents (setup forms, pricelists, promo sheets, etc.) & product photography.
Send reps monthly #s. Scrub accounts by rep group to find inactive accounts that need to re-order & accounts that have potential for growth.
Create promotional calendar & send a recap after each promotion.
Attend industry shows representing The Cookware Company. Network with customers & follow up with leads.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Communication, or related

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially proficient in Excel, Outlook, Web-based applications

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

2-3 years’ experience in administration or a support role

SKILLS/ABILITIES

Housewares experience a plus- retail, on-line or vendor related
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and take initiative/ownership
Dependable, reliable, and strong problem-solving abilities
Excellent organizational skills and attentive to detail, accuracy and completeness
Familiarity with office equipment such as copiers, computers, and printers
Strong verbal and digital communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Professional behavior and demeanor
Familiarity with building services a plus

WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT

Office Environment
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Occasional travel to the NYC office required
