Job Title: Events and Engagement Officer
Contract: Start ASAP - June 2024 (possibility to extend)
Rate: $61 P/H + SUPER
Location: Rural/Regional NSW. Remote working, Work from home 5 days a week.
Some travel involved to attend events in regional NSW.
You must hold Australian Permanent residency or citizenship and reside in NSW

About The Role

As an Events and Engagement Officer, you will be the go-to person for Regional Women NSW for Communications, Social media posts, and promoting small events events in regional areas such as Women's Week.

Your Responsibilities Within The Role

Create and distribute a bi-weekly newsletter to keep stakeholders up to date.
Write copy for different channels.
Manage 5 social media platforms using tools like Sprout Social and Canva to create tiles.
Coordinate small-scale events located across NSW and help with some larger events on occasion.
Stakeholder engagement with media outlets for event coverage.
On occasion, participate in interviews (media experience desirable, training can be provided).
Prepare event briefs and reports.

What You'll Need To Succeed

Proven experience in Digital/Social Media, Communication and engagement roles.
Strong copywriting skills, and previous experience in stakeholder engagement are a must.
You will be located in Regional/Rural NSW
Previous experience using Sprout Social and Canva.
Happy to travel to events when required.
Previous experience in Council or Government roles.
Hold Australian citizenship or permanent residency is a must.
