General Summary

USSFCUs marketing department is looking for a driven, outgoing team player who works well under pressure in a fun but fast paced environment. Must be organized and have impeccable attention to detail. Must be proactive with follow-up, willing to take direction and have an ambition to learn. Coordination, logistics and This position is primarily responsible for providing logistical and administrative support and expertise to the department and its members in all areas. Opportunities to expand creatively in communication and design areas is a possibility.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Assisting with all day-to-day tasks supporting the Marketing Department in general as needed.
Assist in creating, writing, updating, reviewing and proofing department literature including but not limited to; marketing materials, documentation, press releases, company website, social media, etc.
Responsible for all aspects of our Email Platform: Including but not limited to uploading and scheduling emails, creating/uploading/managing lists, proofing and approving emails/send details, tracking results, etc.
Responsible for making recurring website maintenance updates: Including but not limited to rates, financials, disclosures, promotions, sliders, documents, etc.
Update and/or add info, details, articles and other items to our internal intranet platform.
Responsible for working with different departments and Communications in creating and distributing our monthly internal newsletter.
Monitor our public inbox and notify appropriate departments when necessary.
Manage our internal inventory print material and promotional giveaways at the home office and works with our vendor to maintain our external inventory.
Provide print materials and promotional giveaways to different departments when requested.
Responsible for working with print and promotion vendors in ordering new items.
Assist in coordinating and participating in various events such as webinars, community events, SEG events and other events to promote USSFCU and our products and services.
Assist in prepping for events and returning material and swag back in place after an event is completed.
Pull data from various platforms to assist in creating monthly Marketing reports.
Work with 3rd party vendors to order promotional and corporate identity items (i.e., business cards, name badges, stationery, and name plates).
Performs other duties as required and assigned.
Complies with all applicable Rules, Regulations and Statutes of the NCUA and other appropriate governing bodies to include but not limited to: the Credit Union Bylaws, Bank Secrecy Act, Fair Housing Act, Fair Lending Act, and Fair Credit Reporting and all Credit Union Marketing Compliance requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned, including monthly reporting.

Required Experience

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Two (2) years general work experience plus three (3) years in the administrative field. Marketing and/or financial experience a plus.

Skills: Well-organized team player with the ability to multi-task, follow directions well, and prioritize workload. Attention to detail is key. Proactively manages tasks and plans ahead to ensure no details or deadlines are missed. Must be an excellent communicator and exhibit proactive follow-up on assigned responsibilities. Excellent proof skills required. Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams are required. Must have prior experience in writing, managing email platforms, website updates, reporting etc. Graphic Design and Customer Relationship Management database knowledge/experience preferred.

Additional: Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and early morning hours. While there will be an opportunity to work remotely at times, this position will be a mostly in-office/on-site position.
