Are you a corporate communications expert? Do you have experience in creating a corporate newsletter or intranet? Valet Living is seeking a highly skilled Senior Communications Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development and solely executing strategic communication plans that support the overall objectives of the organization. The Senior Communications Specialist will collaborate with key internal stakeholders, including C-level executives, to identify and create effective communication strategies that engage and inform our associates, clients and residents.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $55k - $70k Final compensation will be determined based on location, experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.

Responsibilities/Duties

Deploy a proactive, integrated internal communications strategy for 8,000+ associates with narratives that increase associate engagement and Valet Living’s unique business model
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify communication needs and opportunities
Create and manage content for various communication channels, including emails, newsletters, Workplace by Meta (Intranet) and other communications platforms
Conduct research and analysis to measure the effectiveness of communication strategies and adjust them as needed
Create and manage a content calendar for all communications channels to ensure synergy and consistent messaging and branding
Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for communication and thought leadership
Collaborate with departments within the organization (Operations, HR and Sales) to ensure alignment of messaging and branding across all communication channels
Provide communication support for special projects and events
Assist in editing communication materials, including press releases, advertorials, blogs, talking points, presentations etc. for executives and trade publications
Drive associate participation in Valet Living’s Workplace corporate communications platform and garner PR recognition for Valet Living as a pioneer in partnering with Meta on the tool
Assist in crisis communications to help protect the company’s reputation
Perform other duties as assigned

Education And Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism, marketing, public relations, or a related field
4+ years’ experience in a communications field
Strong project management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Experience deploying communications plans and strategies
Experience working with the media and crisis communications is a plus
Experience in Workplace by Meta or a similar intranet platform is a plus
