Marketing Assistant - Dallas, TX

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our team in our Dallas, Texas office. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients.

Duties And Responsibilities

Coordinates with Project Managers and marketing team in responding to prime, sub-consultant and interview opportunities.
Assists with technical writing to develop SOQ content
Writes resumes, boilerplate information, project descriptions, etc., as needed
Develops and updates firm marketing materials/templates
Assists in maintenance of marketing database
Maintains firm's online mailing list through external program
Assists recruiting efforts by developing Westwood materials, as appropriate
Assists with corporate events, as needed
Involvement in professional marketing organizations and business development as deemed appropriate by supervisor
Actively performs other tasks to benefit overall company efficiency and work environment
Additional responsibilities may include any of the following, dependent upon the specific focus agreed upon at hiring:
- Develops graphics for firm’s internal and external communications efforts, including company website, company newsletter, internal office displays, e-blasts, social media posts and advertisements
- Implements and maintains firm’s external and internal presence, including company website, social media, company newsletter, Reach, e-blasts, press releases and advertisements
- Coordinates with specialized consultants (photographers, PR, etc.)

Required Skills

Proficient in current graphics and publishing programs for marketing material development. Adobe InDesign experience preferred.
Has knowledge of basic concepts/and can work within a database system, preferably Cosential
Has strong organizational skills and is able to work effectively with multiple tasks and deadlines.
Excels in attention to detail and can maintain consistency in the firm brand on all marketing materials
Possesses a sense of ownership and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Demonstrates basic writing skills
Has an eye for graphic design
Has the ability and desire to learn new technologies and techniques when necessary
Self-Starter that works well under pressure

Required Experience

Bachelor’s degree with one to three years of experience
Without a degree, three to five years of relevant A/E/C experience preferred
