About The Position

We're looking for a storyteller's storyteller who lives and breathes narrative connection and can manage content creation across multiple channels flawlessly. As our Content Manager, you will dig into our brand's DNA and bring it to life in the most relevant and compelling ways. You are goal and data-driven and constantly elevate concepts that resonate with prospects in a pitch-perfect manner. Our content is key to our highly successful inbound marketing strategy, and your work will be critical to our growth. To shine in this role, you'll be a self-starter who thrives under deadlines and can create, manage, and implement multi-channel content with ninja master-level swiftness. You could set a Swiss watch to your copy editing and task management precision and attention to detail. You'll be joining our high-performing, Sales and Marketing team and sleep well knowing you're supporting an organization dedicated to helping others "live their best lives" as independent, fee-only financial advisors.

What You'll Do:Manage, draft, and implement content accountabilities aligned to our Campaign Calendar channels and initiatives including our blog, social media, nurture emails, newsletter, press releases, podcast, webinars, lead magnets, and other premium contentManage our weekly XYPN Blog scheduling, inter-departmental team submissions, copy editing, uploading into Hubspot, and publishing. Occasionally writing them too!Plan and execute social media campaigns that leverage our current (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter & YouTube) and future (Reddit & Instagram) channels in the most visible, engaging, and convertible waysPitch premium content and lead magnet updates and ideas, and draft copy for them regularlyContribute to pillar page copywritingManage and draft webinar and podcast titles, descriptions, and show notesManage media relationships including keeping our distribution list up to dateConduct competitive analysis to trend ahead of the curve and draft content that drives organic search growth and builds on our authoritative position in the industryCreate clear and persuasive content that converts across all channels in all stages of our marketing funnelIdeate paid ad campaign concepts and occasionally draft copyManage technical aspects of content delivery systems such as HubSpot and social media platformsCarefully follow multi-step processes with consistency and diligence to complete regularly scheduled tasks; develop processes as neededMaintain quality data and organized files and resources for use by the teamUnderstand and report on KPIs that speak to the effectiveness of our contentCreate visuals from Canva templates to accompany blogs, podcasts, webinars and other materialsWhat You'll Bring to the Table: (If you think, "I only meet 80% of these qualifications," still apply!)

4+ years of content writing and/or inbound marketing experienceCollege degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or other related field; or 4+ years of commensurate agency experienceUnderstanding of content marketing strategies, processes, objectives, and KPIsExceptional written communication skills in all formats-from display ads to pillar pagesProven track record of content marketing KPI growth (sessions, leads, MQLs, subscribers, followers, etc) in a previous roleExperience managing and creating engagement campaign content for the following social platforms: LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Reddit, InstagramDemonstrated project management skillsYou're a tech wiz and love to learn all the new toolsAn in-depth knowledge of Hubspot and how to upload contentA love for working in a fast paced startup environment with a team that likes to laughAuthorized to live and work in the United StatesWhat Would Make Us Drool

Salary: $79,715/yearAll team members at XYPN are owners!
