About us: The Metroport Chamber is a membership based non-profit regional organization providing networking, education, advocacy and promotion to the business community.
About the role: Position manages and executes the organizations marketing, communications and event promotion efforts. This role ensures members and community are well informed and engaged through digital content, newsletters, publications, social media and event material. Reports to the Chief Operations Officer.
Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of marketing including but not limited to:
• Weekly E-Newsletter
• Annual publications
• Promotion of Monthly and Quarterly Events
• Sponsor recognition
• Membership and Ambassador recognition
• Building use promotion
• Chamber Website
• Social media platforms
• Signage
• Prepare news releases
• Monitor and Maintain consistency in branding and messaging
• Provide support for additional marketing initiatives as needed
Candidate requirements:
• Proficient on Microsoft: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher
• Ability to learn chamber industry specific CRM System
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools, such as Constant Contact, Canva, and social media platforms.
• Experience with website management (Wix preferred)
• Creativity to enhance chamber marketing efforts
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Works well with limited supervision and with a team
