Large-scale pharmaceutical company, the Communications Consultant is responsible for supporting organizational communications and will be an integral part of the communications team’s efforts to engage and inspire employees and support the growth objectives of the business.
Responsibilities
The Communications Consultant will possess keen business and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to work under pressure and successfully juggle multiple tasks and deadlines. Core duties and responsibilities include:
- Ensure the creation and implementation of best-in-class communication initiatives.
- Assist in compiling and managing the essential elements of the weekly briefing book to ensure comprehensive and timely information dissemination.
- Develop compelling, creative and strong internal organizational strategies and communications across a variety of different platforms that inspire and engage.
- Collaborate closely with key internal stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Write, edit, and route communications for compliance review and through numerous approval processes.
- Comfortably work and communicate directly with members of the leadership team.
- Compile, distribute and archive all communications and newsletters, including Quarterly newsletter, monthly newsletter, and articles.
- Contribute to management and maintenance of distribution lists across multiple channels, including Microsoft Outlook, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and an Automated Distribution List (ADL) tool, with a focus on ongoing quality control.
- Manage multiple aspects of logistics for Town Hall meetings.
- Exhibit keen business and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to work under pressure and successfully juggle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-centered environment.
- Take initiative to resolve issues independently or to elevate the issue and seek guidance when needed.

- Demonstrate strong time management and assignment prioritization skills.
- Ad-hoc requests and special projects, including but not limited to coordinating organizational communication activities and liaising with business partners, developing engaging visual and written content, and compiling and managing surveys, analytics, trackers, etc.
- Maintain familiarity with the inner workings of the organization and identify nuances within them to ensure the team is effectively communicating with its intended audiences.
- Maintaining team and executive calendars.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related discipline
At least 1+ years of communications experience (internships included)

Corporate and/or healthcare experience or internships
Prior experience in a communications department/environment or an intranet team
Prior experience with content approvals through regulatory/legal/compliance system
Fluency with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
